Top-up battery with Battery Equaliser #4826 Marinas, #6610-857 Home Hardware, #384-4497 True Value Hardware. Standard marine Deep Cycle add 28ml per cell. Larger batteries require more. One 500ml bottle will do 2.5 marine batteries.
Untreated batteries can lose up to 10% of their charge per month and sulphate badly all winter in storage! Treated batteries only lose about 3% per mo, thus in much better condition in spring. As soon a treated battery is run in spring, any built up over sulphation automatically is put back into electrolye, and after a few runnings, batteries are back to like new condition. Eco-rated.
HEAD AND HOLDING TANK
Good practice to "Shock Treat" your holding tank on one of the last trips of the season. Simply pour one 900ml bottle of Head-O-Matic "Shock Treat" #4025 into the head, flush, and allow this to slosh about, in the holding tank, to whistle clean walls, ceilings, lines etc. Helps ensure clean end of season pump-out. Also add your standard head chemical and Head-O-Lube #4085 into toilet and flush during last pump-out as final piping cleanout. Fresh start for 2012! Eco-rated
Consider installing a Head-O-Matic Tankette unit #4106, this fall or winter anywhere convenient in the line from through hull to head. Every flush is automatically treated. Simply add a Head-O-matic blue puck once a month during the summer. No more blue in head; time to replace the puck.
